Tedt’s Cafe and Bakery is known for its cupcakes and cakes here in Iligan City. But unknown to many, they do have other mouthwatering offerings in their menu that will tempt you out of your resolve to forgo these calorie loaded food group. This I discovered when I joined the #EatIligan Event of the Iligan Bloggers’ Society of which Tedt’s is one of the partners.
From its original location at the National Highway, they have moved to a new space at Quezon Avenue Extension in what used to be Emry’s Frames. The spacious and very clean area provides a better experience for its clients.
Throughout the 10 years of their existence, Tedt’s have consistently provided us with their sweet fix of baked goodies like brownies, cookies, truffles and leche plan. Here are some pictures of the Iliganon’s all time favorites. .
Chocolate Moist Cake ( P75 )
Matcha Cake ( P85)
Aside from these goodies, they are also serving pastas, sandwiches, bread and shakes and even meals
Chili Lasagna with rich layers of mildly spiced beef bolognese ( P135 )
I particularly like their Pesto Adobo Sandwich made of chicken flakes, egg, tomatoes and homemade pesto mayo. Since I like everything that has cinnamon on it, their cinnamon bread is a clear winner for me. Pair it with their refreshing Mango Django shake and you’ll have a filling snack. For people like me, always conscious of their calorie intake, it’s better to indulge in these goodies once in a while rather than deprive yourself and go on a binge later. But of course it should it be done in moderation.
